Been to Charlie's Treasures Yet?
| Articles - Town N Country News |
It seems like the busiest store in the Publix Plaza at Hanley and Waters is Charlie's Treasures. Every time that I've been there it's full of people. Charlie's Treasure is the thrift store that ir run by The Children's Home on Memorial.
I met and chatted with Mary Fittro, the store manager, she gave me the 411. They are a 501 (C) 3 which means all your donations are tax deductable. By the way, your donations are greatly appreciated! They also have a pick up service available by appointment only for those large or heavy items that are just too much for you to bring in by yourself.

Charlie's Treasures inventory contains everything from clothing and jewlery to furniture and knick knacks. Oh yes, books, DVD movies and video games are there for you to buy too.
Charlie's Treasures already has the Christmas spirit! Their tree is up and brightly decorated! You can see it in the window when you walk by.
Mary wanted me to remind you that they are always looking for volunteers to help out. She stated that volunteers were needed all year log, not just during the holiday season.
Charlie's Treasures is a charitable operation that is for the benefit of The Children's Home.
Be sure to stop in there the next time that you're in the plaza and tell them that you saw them on
