Meet the Candidates – Political Forum

Articles - Town N Country News

meet-candidates2010-004

The "Meet The Candidates" forum held at the new regional library on Tuesday the 3rd was by all means and measures a success.

I counted 90 people there while I was there. People kept coming and going. I would say it is a safe assumption that the total attendance was well over 100.

Bill Browne, Alliance Chair moderated. County Commission candidates were given speaking opportunities.

That was followed by questions and answers. Mr. Browne asked that the questions would be relevant to county issues and problems that the commissioners could be expected to solve.

Rosemarie Middleton and her group of volunteers did a superior job of setting up the room, serving refreshments and cleaning up the residue after the forum.
